Welcome to Lake Norman Fitness Specialists. I’m Jonathan and am fortunate to have been the owner of LNFS for the last five years. I have over ten years of experience as a personal trainer working with clients of all fitness levels. I received my BS in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2009. I am a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and a Precision Nutrition Coach (PN1). I am also certified as a FMS 1 coach (Functional Movement Systems). Currently I am studying to receive more certifications. I have always had a passion to help others live their best lives through reaching their fitness goals. I truly believe that we were meant to thrive, not just get by. The things I enjoy most about my job are seeing the look on their face when they meet their weight loss goal, have become pain free, and hearing how they are now playing their sport of choice at the highest level they have in years due to their training program and lifestyle. I also enjoy working with my team and seeing them grow. I believe that I have one of the best teams around!

My name is Casey. I’ve been working as a strength and conditioning coach and trainer for the past three years while finishing up my education. I have received my Masters’ degree in Kinesiology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and also hold a Bachelors degree in Exercise Science. I am also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist from the National Strength and Conditioning Association, Certified Speed and Agility Coach from the National Sports Performance Association, and have studied corrective and functional exercise techniques from the Postural Restoration Institute.

My favorite part of my job is helping people get rid of pain and accomplishing all of their fitness goals while maintaining a healthy lifestyle and also helping athletes take their physical preparation to the next level and getting stronger while remaining injury free!

I became a personal trainer because… I was an obese child and used exercise to get to a healthy weight and then as tool to help with my sports performance. In doing so, I fell in love with the process! I knew from a young age that I wanted to help people and athletes alike use exercise to achieve their goals!”

Hi, I’m Jayme!  I have loved staying active and helping others stay healthy my entire life. I graduated from Slippery Rock University with a bachelor’s in Exercise Science. I’m also a nationally certified strength and conditioning coach.

I have been working as a personal trainer for a few years now and I love it! It’s amazing to watch clients transform as we work together and be a part of their progress. I really like working with student-athletes and especially moms. I love it when busy women make time for themselves. It’s really rewarding to help other women feel more fit, have more energy, and really just approach life in general with more self-confidence.

I became a personal trainer because…….I love the way I feel after a workout and I love seeing that same sense of accomplishment in my clients after a great workout. Especially, when it’s part of a bigger goal whether it’s training for an event or getting fit for themselves.

Hi I’m Lindsay, I’ve been an athlete my entire life. I played Division I basketball in college and received my B.S in Athletic Training from SUNY (State University of New York) Cortland.

I love to sharing my enthusiasm for competition and my passion for achievement with clients. I’ve worked with athletes at every level, Olympic, Professional, Semi-professional, College, High School and Middle School. I also help people with injuries and mobility issues feel better than they have in a long time through corrective exercises.

  • Exercise I need to do most and don’t like: plank variations
  • Favorite food: chocolate cake and french fries, not necessarily at the same time, but I’m open to it.

  • Hobby: Baking all the bad things I tell people not to eat

Hi I’m Jason! My true passion is athletics at all levels and helping student athletes find their personal best. I have been involved in fitness and athletics my entire life. I attended Appalachian State University for Exercise Science and also played collegiate soccer and tennis.

I have been working as a personal trainer for over five years and I couldn’t have picked a better career. I love developing customized programs to help my clients get stronger, better conditioned, move better, and ultimately be better competitors. Seeing my clients succeed and reach their goals is more rewarding than I could have imagined!
